Security Bank shines in HR innovation and work-life harmony
Security Bank is raising the bar for employee care and workplace innovation, winning three major recognitions this year for its people-first approach.
At the Economic Times Human Capital Awards in Singapore, the Bank took home the bronze award for Excellence in HR Digital Transformation. This honor came from the success of its HCM Employee Resources Online (HeRO) platform, launched in 2023 to simplify HR processes and elevate the employee experience. Since its rollout, the platform has achieved 99% satisfaction among new hires, boosted efficiency by 67%, and saved managers 25% of their time through automation.
The Bank also stood out at the HR Excellence Awards 2025, where it won bronze for Excellence in Work-Life Harmony. Security Bank’s efforts include hybrid work arrangements, flexible benefits, expanded leave options, and day-one health coverage. These programs lifted employee engagement to 78, above the market average of 72, proving the impact of its “You matter” Employee Value Proposition.
Rounding out its achievements, Security Bank was named one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia–Philippines. This recognition was based on surveys from 2.5 million employees across the region, reinforcing the Bank’s reputation as a trusted and inclusive workplace.
Nerissa Berba, EVP and Chief People Officer, emphasized, “Our promise of ‘You matter’ is not just to employees, but also to our customers. When our people feel supported, they bring their best selves to work and serve with greater empathy.”
These awards strengthen Security Bank’s position as one of the country’s top employers, highlighting its strong commitment to innovation, well-being, and customer-centric service.
