Mr and Ms Chinatown Global names new leaders for 2026
NMr and Ms Chinatown Global enters a new chapter in 2026. The cultural pageant confirmed its new leadership after its venue signing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The announcement sets the tone for a year focused on heritage, community, and global representation.

Nicole Cordoves takes the lead as Pageant Director. She carries strong experience in pageantry and media. She won Miss Grand Philippines 2016. She held the Miss Chinatown 2014 crown. She also served as host of Binibining Pilipinas for six editions. Her work shaped how many Filipinos view modern pageantry. Now she guides a new set of cultural ambassadors for MMCG Year 2.
Cordoves says the project blends tradition and tomorrow. She wants candidates to find pride in their roots and purpose in their stories. She brings a firm yet modern approach to leadership. Her focus stays on culture, identity, and community building.
Cassandra Chan joins as Assistant Pageant Director and Pageant Manager. She won Miss Chinatown Philippines 2022 and Miss World Philippines Charity 2022. Her work in cultural events and community-driven platforms shaped her understanding of heritage on a global scale.
Chan says the pageant creates a space where Chinese communities connect through meaningful stories. She highlights that the event values pride, creativity, and identity. Her role supports candidates as they step into a global stage.
Together, Cordoves and Chan bring experience that fits the direction of MMCG. They aim to build a program that supports growth, culture, and representation. Their leadership builds on Year 1, which gathered candidates from the USA, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, China, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Mr and Ms Chinatown Global Year 2 opens on January 28, 2026. The Winners Night happens on February 10, 2026 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The stage prepares to welcome talent and pride from communities around the world.
