Over 19,000 runners joined the Galaxy Manila Marathon at the SM Mall of Asia Complex on August 10, 2025. The event, powered by Samsung in partnership with RUNRIO, promoted health, wellness, and the spirit of Manila.
Participants ran through iconic landmarks including Rizal Park, Intramuros, Roxas Boulevard, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex. Samsung Electronics Philippines Ecosystem Product Marketing Manager Michelle Tee highlighted AI-driven features like Running Coach, High Stress Alert, Mindfulness Tracker, and Energy Score. The watches also introduced the Antioxidant Index for healthy aging.
Created with Google, the Galaxy Watch8 series runs on Wear OS 6 with Gemini AI assistant for hands-free control. The redesigned structure is thinner and lighter for comfort, while the Classic model adds a rotating bezel for style. For endurance athletes, the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers long battery life and titanium durability.
