The new track supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund as Shakira prepares to co-headline the first FIFA World Cup final halftime show.
Shakira and Burna Boy have released “Dai Dai,” the official song of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, bringing together music, football, and a global education cause.

Released via Sony Music Latin, the track supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise USD 100 million by the end of the tournament to help provide children around the world with access to quality education and sports opportunities.
According to reports, royalties from “Dai Dai” will support the fund. Sony Music is also set to match the first USD 250,000 raised, while Shakira will donate USD 1 from every ticket sold to her upcoming Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour to the education initiative.
The release comes as FIFA prepares for a historic entertainment moment at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ final. Shakira will co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the New York New Jersey Stadium, alongside Madonna and BTS.
For Shakira, “Dai Dai” adds another chapter to her long connection with global football culture, following past World Cup hits that became part of the sport’s modern soundtrack. For Burna Boy, the collaboration continues his rise as one of Africa’s most influential global artists, known for bringing African music to major international stages.
More than a tournament song, “Dai Dai” is positioned as a cultural moment with a purpose. It connects fans through music while helping raise support for children’s education and access to sports.
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
