Scaling Filipino Startups to Global Heights
Philippine Startup Week (PHSW) 2025 returns from November 10 to 14 to spotlight Filipino innovation and drive local startups toward global success.

This year’s theme, “Scaling Filipino Innovation: Start Local, Go Global,” focuses on building world-class startups ready to compete internationally. The event gathers founders, investors, and innovation leaders to share strategies and insights on taking Filipino ventures beyond local borders.
Now in its sixth year, PHSW is organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). These agencies, under the Innovation Startup Act (ISA) Steering Committee, continue to strengthen government support for startups nationwide.
The National Development Company (NDC), together with the Strategic and Collaborative Alliance for Leveraging Ecosystems of Startups–National Capital Region (SCALE NCR), co-leads this year’s event. Their goal is clear: to give Filipino startups the tools and exposure needed to thrive globally.
The Philippine Innovation Hub in Marikina, the event’s main venue, will host the week-long conference. Inside, participants will experience multiple stages, startup expos, and networking areas designed to foster collaboration.
PHSW 2025 will feature five signature tracks:
• Discover – Learn about technopreneurship and how to start a venture.
• Collaborate – Connect with partners to drive growth.
• Develop – Strengthen ideas through mentorship and support.
• Showcase – Highlight top startups through national pitch sessions.
• Invest – Match innovators with investors ready to scale ideas.
Delegates will also get early insights into ISA’s new initiatives for startups, plus opportunities to connect with venture capital firms, accelerators, and ecosystem builders.
