Filipino talent takes center stage as three best friend duos win the “Awiting Wicked: For Good” contest and head to Singapore for the film’s premiere.
Filipino creativity shines once again as Jon M. Chu, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo handpicked three best friend duos as winners of “Awiting Wicked: For Good.”

The competition, hosted on TikTok, invited Filipino fans to sing their own rendition of “For Good,” one of the most beloved songs from the hit musical Wicked. Out of hundreds of entries, three duos stood out for their chemistry, storytelling, and vocal harmony.
The winning pairs are:
• Fatima Soria (@only_ftma) and Pia Casing (@piazzicato)
• Jezza Quiogue (@jezzaquiogue_) and Nowi Alpuerto (@nowialps)
• Kyle Quinco (@kwisssy6) and Tiffany Vistal (@tiffanyshanevistal)
These six winners will record their own version of “For Good” and appear in an official music video. They will also travel to Singapore to meet Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu and stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at the film’s premiere.
Jon M. Chu and the cast praised the entries for their sincerity and emotion, noting how Filipino performers continue to bring depth and passion to musical storytelling.
“Wicked: For Good” continues the saga of Elphaba and Glinda, exploring how friendship, forgiveness, and fate shape the end of their journey. The film marks the second and final chapter following last year’s box-office hit Wicked (2024), which earned 10 Oscar nominations and grossed $750 million worldwide.
Produced by Marc Platt and David Stone, Wicked: For Good opens in Philippine cinemas on November 19. Tickets are now on sale. Follow Universal Pictures PH on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for updates.
