The Running Man movie trailer teases deadly survival game in theaters November 12
Keep running. The game has begun.

Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for The Running Man, directed by Edgar Wright and starring Glen Powell. The action-thriller hits Philippine cinemas on November 12.
Based on Stephen King’s novel, The Running Man explores a future where reality TV and survival collide. The story follows Ben Richards, played by Glen Powell, a working-class man forced to join a deadly televised contest to save his sick daughter. Contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by assassins. Every move is broadcast live, and every day alive earns a higher cash reward.
As Richards becomes a fan favorite, his defiance threatens the system that created the show. The trailer teases explosive action, high-speed chases, and emotional stakes, all wrapped in Edgar Wright’s sharp direction and visual flair.
Powell, known for Top Gun: Maverick and Twisters, leads a strong ensemble featuring Josh Brolin as the show’s manipulative producer Dan Killian. The cast also includes William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Sean Hayes, Katy O’Brian, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin.
The film is produced by Simon Kinberg, Nira Park, and Edgar Wright under Kinberg Genre and Complete Fiction Productions. It marks Wright’s return to large-scale action after Baby Driver and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
The Running Man promises adrenaline, spectacle, and social commentary on fame and control. In a world where the game never stops, survival is entertainment.
