Partnership introduces 2,000 VinFast EVs under “Green Xentro powered by Green GSM”
Green GSM and Xentro Group have joined forces to bring all-electric ride-hailing to the Philippines. The collaboration will see 2,000 VinFast electric vehicles operating under the new “Green Xentro powered by Green GSM” fleet.
The partnership supports the country’s shift toward sustainable and inclusive mobility. Green GSM, the all-electric ride-hailing brand under GSM, signed a memorandum of understanding with AMRC Renewable Corporation/Xentro Motors, a subsidiary of the Xentro Group of Companies.
Under the agreement, Green GSM will supply 2,000 VinFast Nerio Green EVs to Xentro Motors. The first 1,000 units have already been secured, with the rest to follow within two years. Operations will begin after regulatory approvals are completed.
These vehicles, known for zero tailpipe emissions and smooth performance, will showcase Green GSM’s signature cyan color. The fleet aims to offer commuters a cleaner, quieter, and more comfortable experience in Metro Manila and other key cities.
Xentro Motors will integrate electric mobility into its nationwide network by providing pick-up zones, charging stations, and parking areas at Xentro Malls. The plan aligns with Xentro Group’s vision of building sustainable communities through its retail and property developments.
Green GSM continues to expand its electric ride-hailing service across Southeast Asia. Its Managing Director, Dao Quy Phi, said the company values partnerships with local businesses to build inclusive electric mobility ecosystems.
Xentro Motors CEO Noel M. Ignacio shared that the project aligns with the Philippines’ transport modernization goals and will help make sustainable travel accessible to more Filipinos.
Together, Green GSM and Xentro Group aim to make electric ride-hailing a practical choice for Filipino commuters while inspiring broader adoption of clean energy transportation nationwide.
