Globe digital citizenship program Cagayan inspires youth through learning, music, and leadership
Globe brought learning, leadership, and music to students across Cagayan province, reaching more than 750 youth through its digital citizenship and creative empowerment programs.

Cagayan, home to over 3.6 million people, has a young and connected population. Yet many still struggle to use digital tools responsibly and creatively. To address this, Globe rolled out a three-day program focused on responsible online behavior, leadership, and creative expression.
Through the Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP), Globe guided students to become responsible digital citizens. At Peñablanca National High School, 250 students participated in sessions on safe internet use and online ethics. They also shared how they already use AI platforms like Nomunity, Perplexity, and Scholar.ai to improve their learning.
At Cagayan State University, 350 student leaders joined leadership and inclusion workshops under DTP. They explored how technology can drive change in their communities. The sessions culminated in the TM Fun Music Concert, where over 2,500 students celebrated creativity through performances by Amiel Sol and local artists.
Globe Territory Business Head Raymond Mancilla said the youth are already shaping their future with innovation and leadership. “At Globe, we see the youth not just as future leaders but as leaders of today,” he said.
The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines also joined the initiative. Around 150 medical student leaders attended DTP sessions that emphasized empathy, ethics, and accountability in digital leadership.
From classrooms to concert stages, Globe’s presence in Cagayan reminded students that leadership begins with responsibility and community spirit. Through digital literacy and creative engagement, Globe continues to shape a generation ready to lead the nation into a smarter and more connected future.
