Kadayawan celebrates abundance, and this year Converge ICT Solutions Inc. amplified that theme by empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through its Let’s Get Bizzy event on August 14 at Asian Cow by Chef Patrick Co.
The gathering brought together Davao’s SME community for an afternoon of learning and collaboration. Chef Patrick Co, founder of the Fat Cow Group, led the session with his talk “The Digital Advantage: Why SMEs Can’t Afford to Stay Offline.” He shared how his restaurants—Fat Cow, Asian Cow, and Tat Cow—grew by leveraging digital tools for operations and customer engagement.
“Digital presence isn’t optional. It’s survival,” Chef Patrick said, stressing that SMEs must adopt online platforms to stay competitive. He highlighted how connectivity can improve efficiency, from managing supply chains to processing payments.
Supporting this message, Ms. Annaly Siodina, Regional Commercial Manager for Mindanao, unveiled Converge’s MicroBIZ Max Plan. With speeds of up to 400 Mbps for ₱2,499 and starter options from ₱1,449, the plan provides cost-effective fiber internet for micro and small businesses.
The event became more than a seminar. It created a space where entrepreneurs shared ideas and built networks, reflecting the spirit of Kadayawan. By championing SMEs, Converge ICT reinforced its commitment to supporting the backbone of the Philippine economy.
As Davao celebrates its season of plenty, one lesson stands clear: abundance thrives where connection begins.
