Dusit Thani Bangkok Michelin Key Recognition Reinforces Global Excellence
Dusit Thani Bangkok has earned a Michelin Key, reaffirming its place among the world’s finest hotels. The honor highlights its continued legacy as a symbol of Thai hospitality, design, and service excellence.

The Michelin Guide announced the award on October 8, placing Dusit Thani Bangkok among Thailand’s most distinguished hotels. The recognition also follows news that Dusit Thani Kyoto has received a Michelin Key for the second year, showing Dusit International’s growing reputation for excellence across Asia.
First opened in 1970, the original Dusit Thani Bangkok was one of Thailand’s first luxury hotels. After a five-year redevelopment, the property reopened in 2024 as part of the Dusit Central Park project near Lumpini Park. The new design blends the charm of the original with modern touches, wellness offerings, and dining innovations. Every room offers serene views of the park, adding calm amid the city’s energy.
In its first year since reopening, Dusit Thani Bangkok has earned several global awards, including Top Honours at the AHEAD Asia Awards 2025, Best New Hotel at TTG Asia Travel Awards, and Best Opening at Skift Global Innovators Round-up.
Dusit Thani Kyoto, meanwhile, continues to thrive in Japan. Located near Kyoto Station, the hotel fuses Thai graciousness with Japan’s omotenashi culture. Its design features Thai-inspired motifs and natural Japanese aesthetics, earning it a Four-Star rating in the Forbes Travel Guide 2025.
“Each award shows our team’s dedication and passion for redefining modern Thai hospitality,” said Gilles Cretallaz, COO of Dusit International.
Across the Dusit brand, hotels in Mactan, Singapore, Maldives, Manila, and Abu Dhabi also received top honors in the Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast awards. Together, these achievements confirm Dusit’s global leadership in hospitality defined by grace, creativity, and care.
