Sensitive skin is more complex than many realize. It’s no longer just about dryness or redness. Stress, pollution, climate change, and lifestyle factors now trigger new symptoms that make sensitive skin harder to manage.
Cetaphil’s National Healthy Skin Mission (NHSM), now on its 6th year with Watsons, reminds Filipinos that “There’s More to Your Sensitive Skin.” The campaign highlights that sensitive skin is a skin condition, not just a skin type. With the Philippines ranking first in Southeast Asia and sixth worldwide for sensitive skin, the need for awareness and solutions is greater than ever.
This year’s launch introduces the Soothing & Comforting CICA Line, designed to address redness-prone skin. The range features Centella Asiatica to calm inflammation, Allantoin to relieve discomfort, and Pentavitin to deeply hydrate for up to 24 hours. Its dual-action formula not only reduces redness but also strengthens the skin barrier to prevent flare-ups.
Anne Curtis, brand ambassador, leads the mission. She shared her own struggles with sensitivity, noting that after motherhood, she became more prone to hyperpigmentation. Her story emphasizes that skin changes over time and needs expert care.
At the NHSM launch, guests experienced exclusive product trials, skin consultations, and access to the new CICA Line. Cetaphil’s message is clear: sensitive skin has many forms and requires targeted solutions. Whether redness-prone, hyperpigmentation-prone, or baby skin, dermatologist-developed care is key.
