Grammy-nominated global pop sensation Benson Boone continues to level up in 2025 with the release of his second studio album ‘American Heart’, out now via Night Street Records/Warner Records.
Arriving alongside the album is the electrifying focus track, “Mr Electric Blue” — a song Benson Boone wrote about his father. Bursting with driving percussion, vibrant melodies, and soaring vocals, the track channels emotion through momentum, capturing Boone’s signature flair for transforming personal stories into bold, stadium-ready moments. First teased on TikTok with a spirited clip, the song blends heartfelt intention with feel-good energy — making it a standout hit in the making. Amplifying the release even further, a music video directed by frequent collaborator Matt Eastin will premiere alongside the track.
Earlier this month, Benson kicked off a series of live performances from his new album, starting with a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he performed his heartfelt track “Momma Song” — and made history as the first guest to backflip off Jimmy’s desk during an interview. Benson also lit up the stage at the American Music Awards on May 26th with an electrifying performance of single “Mystical Magical” which is currently climbing the charts. Last month he also made his Saturday Night Live debut performing both “Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else.”.
