Sexy Jay drops the crowd-favorite track “Singaw” on May 21, 2026 via Offshore Music, giving listeners another preview of his upcoming album set for release in June.
Taguig-based art punk artist Sexy Jay has released his latest single, “Singaw,” on streaming platforms via Offshore Music.
Known for his raw post-punk sound, offbeat humor, and distinct creative identity, Sexy Jay has been performing “Singaw” live for years. The track has become a crowd favorite for its unusual yet relatable theme: the discomfort of mouth ulcers.
The song carries a gritty and hypnotic energy, drawing from the brooding spirit of post-punk while turning a simple everyday pain into a strangely memorable anthem.
According to Jay Villarosa, the artist behind Sexy Jay, the idea for “Singaw” came together in July last year while he was dealing with mouth ulcers himself.
“May singaw ako nung time na yon kaya yan pumasok na lyrics habang pinapakinggan ko yung beat na nagawa ko,” Villarosa shared.
A lyric video for “Singaw,” created by Jyzel Monzon, will also premiere on Offshore Music PH’s official YouTube channel on release day.
“Singaw” follows Sexy Jay’s first single, “Daga,” and serves as the second preview of his upcoming album, expected to arrive in June 2026.
