Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) continues its mission to make vegetable cooking fun and practical with the expansion of the I Love Veggie-Licious Caravan across Metro Manila and Luzon.

The program began in Quezon City, engaging over 750 residents from three barangays. Its school caravan version reached 5,900 grade school students and 650 parents last year, helping instill healthy eating habits early. This August, the caravan resumed in Sta. Lucia, Pasig City, welcoming over 300 residents for cooking demos, nutrition education, and family activities.
For the next two months, the I Love Veggie-Licious Caravan will visit Laguna, Bulacan, Quezon, and Pangasinan. Each stop highlights APC’s Eat Well, Live Well philosophy through interactive cooking demonstrations, nutrition tips, and practical recipes seasoned with AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning.
Experts emphasized strategies to encourage kids to eat more vegetables, such as introducing them early, presenting meals in colorful ways, and enhancing flavor with ingredients they already enjoy. Nutritionists also shared daily vegetable intake guidelines: half a cup per meal for kids 3 to 5 years old, three-fourths cup for ages 6 to 9, and one cup for adults.
APC President Koichi Ozaki said, “Our aim is to inspire more families to welcome vegetables to their daily meals. Through the I Love Veggie-Licious Caravan, APC’s commitment to taste, nutrition, and sustainability comes together in every plate served at home.”
With more communities lined up, the I Love Veggie-Licious Caravan continues to spread the message that eating vegetables can be delicious, nutritious, and sustainable.
