The ACTAI Asia Pacific Summit, held at Pangulasian Island, brought together leaders from venture capital, technology, and conservation to address global challenges through purpose-driven innovations.
Directed by Maria Serafica, the summit united innovators, venture capitalists, and conservationists to develop solutions for social, environmental, and economic change. Discussions included ocean conservation efforts, particularly coral restoration in El Nido and establishing marine protected areas in the Philippines.
In partnership with Ayala Land, ACTAI Global hosted an AI competition to spotlight startups with impactful solutions in sustainability, healthcare, and education. Judges included Lars Rasmussen, Bill Tai, Patrick Chang, and Ayala family members Jaime Alfonso and Mariana Zobel de Ayala.
Perle AI emerged as the winner, recognized for its AI-driven solutions that optimize operations and accelerate business growth. Founder and CEO Ahmed Rashad emphasized the event’s role in fostering real-world impact through innovation.
Bill Tai highlighted that ACTAI supports entrepreneurs using technology for positive global change. He commended Perle AI for its scalable solutions addressing urgent problems while driving economic growth.
The summit balanced high-level dialogue with activities such as kite surfing, a signature sport of the ACTAI community, and featured a live performance by Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses and Apl.de.Ap. Sponsored by Bank of the Philippines and GCash, the event gathered attendees from over thirteen countries, reinforcing ACTAI Global’s mission to unite purpose-driven innovators.
