TIEZA online travel tax services deliver faster access for outbound travelers

TIEZA raises the standard of digital services for Filipino outbound travelers. The agency now upgrades its online travel tax services to give you faster access, simpler steps, and a smoother experience every time you fly out.

During a media briefing, Chief Operating Officer Mark T. Lapid thanked outbound travelers for their travel tax contributions. He explained how your payments help build roads, ports, water systems, and community spaces in key destinations. These projects support tourism growth and improve travel experience for local and foreign visitors.

Lapid stressed shared responsibility. He said every tax payment supports national development. He added that each contribution fuels infrastructure programs that connect communities and strengthen local tourism economies.

TIEZA now enhances the Online Travel Tax Services System. You can pay your travel tax online. You can also apply for exemptions and reduced travel tax without long lines. This change benefits at least 800,000 travelers who qualify for these privileges every year.

The platform supports over 4.6 million outbound travelers. You can complete your travel tax requirements anytime and anywhere. You save time at the airport. You skip manual forms. You complete your trip with fewer steps.

Lapid said the goal is simple. TIEZA wants to make travel tax transactions quick and convenient. He added that digital tools give you more time for family and work.

TIEZA also partners with the DICT. The full travel tax payment system now works with the eGov PH Super App and eTravel platforms. Your personal information loads automatically. You process payments faster. You reduce errors. You stay secure within a unified digital system.

Under the law, 50 percent of travel tax proceeds go to TIEZA. These funds support tourism infrastructure. Forty percent goes to CHED for scholarships in tourism programs. Ten percent supports NCCA for cultural preservation and the arts.

Lapid said your contribution supports projects nationwide. These funds build stronger destinations and support future tourism workers. He added that TIEZA will keep improving systems to make your experience smoother.

The agency continues its push for transparent and efficient services. TIEZA’s message is clear. Your journey helps build the country.
