This year’s BLAST Premier World Final will see eight of the world’s top esports teams compete for the 1 million USD prize pool and the coveted World Final 2024 trophy. The journey to the finals has been intense, including current world ranking leader NAVI, defending champions Vitality and other finalists G2 Esports, Team Spirit, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Astralis and MOUZ, battling through multiple stages to secure their spot.
With the actions scheduled to kick off later today from 30 October to 3 November 2024, the event promises a high-energy, immersive esports experience – but the spectacle wouldn’t be possible without the staggering technology and logistical efforts that go on behind the scenes.

Miles of Cable: Over 41 miles of cable will be laid out across the venue, ensuring flawless streaming, gameplay, and live broadcasting to millions of fans worldwide in 150+ territories and 28 languages.
Monitors, Gaming Equipment and Screens: More than 234 monitors, 115 PCs, 90 specialist gaming chairs and LED screens will be deployed across the venue, providing real-time stats, player perspectives, and dynamic replays for attendees and viewers alike.
Staff Involved: Over 400 staff members, including technicians, production experts, game operators, and event managers, are working around the clock to ensure a flawless event experience.
Setup Time: The event setup for this grand event will take a dedicated team of approximately 72 hours and months of planning to construct and prepare, including the elaborate stage design, broadcast infrastructure, and fan zones.
Tournament Format and Big Matches to Watch
Singapore will see some of the biggest and best esports stars descend onto Sentosa, with wonderkid Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, recent Copenhagen Major MVP Justinas “jL” Lekavičius and 2023 number one ranked player Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, all set to battle for the World Final trophy. Fans can expect thrilling opening matches, including a highly anticipated showdown between Team Vitality and Team Spirit on 1 November.
The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 follows a double-elimination format with two groups of four teams. Each group will battle through a group stage, where teams play best-of-three matches. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs.
