Shell Advance Masters and Shell Helix Champions highlight Filipino mekaniko excellence
The Shell Mekaniko League 2025 has officially concluded, marking one of the biggest milestones in the Philippine automotive and motorcycle servicing industry.

The national competition brought together more than 2,000 participants from 26 provinces, showcasing the best of Filipino skill, determination, and craftsmanship. The grand finale was held at Le Pavillon in Pasay City, where mechanics battled through written exams, diagnostics, and live repair challenges that mirrored real-world workshop demands.
Shell Advance Masters 2025 National Champion
- Charlie Sandoval (Caloocan City) stood tall as the 2025 Shell Advance Masters Champion.
- The podium was shared with Norman Cabal (2nd Place), Joefel Foronda (3rd Place), Joevanne Sayat (4th Place), and Allen Kenneth Rañon (5th Place).
- Each finalist showcased exceptional talent, underscoring the importance of motorcycle mechanics as frontline technicians who keep riders safe.
Shell Helix Auto Mekaniko Champions 2025 National Champion

- Mark Anthony Calimag (Quezon City) was crowned the 2025 National Champion.
- He was joined on stage by R-Jay Alvarez (2nd Place) and Manny Basong (3rd Place).

Both champions received ₱200,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Malaysia to witness the MotoGP, along with other top finalists. Semi-finalists were also awarded ₱50,000 each, reinforcing Shell’s commitment to uplifting mechanics’ skills and livelihoods.
More Than a Competition
The Mekaniko League was not only about trophies and recognition. It provided Shell-led training sessions and TESDA-certified modules that prepared participants for NC I and NC II certifications. These programs expand their credentials, elevate service standards, and open more opportunities for Filipino mechanics nationwide.
