For Bounty Cares Foundation, 2024 has been a year marked by collaboration, compassion, and community-building. The milestones achieved have laid a strong foundation to enter the new year with a renewed sense of purpose and an unwavering commitment to making a lasting impact.

Grounded in its core values of compassion, integrity, excellence, innovation, and collaboration, Bounty Cares Foundation Inc. focuses on serving disadvantaged children, youth, families, rural communities, schools, and farmers across the Philippines. With a vision of creating a compassionate and inclusive society, the foundation has become a beacon of hope for countless individuals, offering impactful programs that leave a lasting legacy of positivity and transformation.

As the socio-civic arm of Bounty Fresh Group Holdings Inc., Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc. has carried out Bounty’s mission of “Food Made Better” by demonstrating its commitment of empowering individuals and communities through sustainable solutions and transformative initiatives. One of its impactful programs is BounTree of Hope, an inspiring Christmas outreach program where Bounty employees donate new clothes and shoes to underprivileged children.

In this heartwarming program, children from Bounty’s partner organizations share their wishes such as a pair of shoes, a bag, or a school pack; then, Bounty employees volunteer to fulfill these wishes. The gifts are placed under the company’s Christmas tree, called the BounTree of Hope, located in the office lobby.

Chicky, Bounty Fresh’s official mascot, along with Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc., gave smiles and gifts to children in one of the Bountree of Hope events

Last year, the beneficiaries of the program included children from Sto. Niño Elementary School in Tarlac, the Reception and Study Center for Children in Quezon City, and Bahay Tuluyan ng mga Bata sa Dasmarinas in Cavite. In December, the BounTree of Hope successfully made the wishes of over 130 children come true.

“Sobrang naging masaya ang mga bata. Sobrang naging grateful at thankful sila sa mga binigay ng Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc. At yung enjoyment na yun po ay simple lang pero tatatak po ito sa kanilang puso at isipan. At ito pa ay naging parte ng kanilang healing and recovery,” said Rhodora B. Sajor, DSWD Social Welfare Officer III, Centers and Institutions. “Naramdaman po nila yung Christmas na may mga taong nakakaalala sa kanila. Naiparamdaman ng Bounty Cares Foundation na sila ay mga bata pa rin na dapat arugain, dapat kalingain at dapat bigyan ng atensyon.”

[The children were overjoyed. They were incredibly grateful and thankful for everything that Bounty Cares Foundation gave them. The simple joy they experienced will leave a lasting impression on their hearts and minds. It has also become a part of their healing and recovery process. They were able to feel the Christmas spirit because of people who remembered and cared for them.. Bounty Cares made them feel like they were kids who deserved to be nurtured, cared for, and given attention to.]

The festive donation events, held on three separate dates, were filled with joy and excitement. Activities such as games, a magic show, and a special appearance by Bounty Fresh’s official mascot, Chicky, created truly memorable experiences for the children.

Building on the success of this initiative, Bounty is committed to expanding the BounTree of Hope program this year. In addition to fulfilling children’s wishes every December, the foundation plans to donate chicken and eggs monthly to the three partner institutions, providing continued support to the communities.

“We believe hope is one of the greatest gifts we can give, especially to children. Through BounTree of Hope, we aim to show them that their dreams matter and that there’s a community ready to support them,” said Arlene Cheng, Executive Director of Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc.

Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc., organized a feeding program for Cabuyao City BJMP in partnership with Knights of Columbus Laguna Council.

Another impactful program launched in 2024 by Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc. was its disaster relief operations following Severe Tropical Storm Kristine. The foundation distributed cooked roasted chicken and eggs to affected communities in Batangas and Laguna, serving nearly 1,600 individuals.

Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc., together with Alagang Kapatid Foundation and Chooks-To-Go, extending a helping hand to the fire-stricken families in Tondo, Manila, providing much-needed relief and support during this difficult time

In September, Bounty Cares also partnered with TV5 Network’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation to feed the fire-stricken community in Aroma in Tondo, Manila. With the assistance of the District Mobile Force Battalion of Manila Police District and Maaasahan Community, Bounty Cares and Alagang Kapatid distributed 1,000 Chooks-to-Go meals.

Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc., provided organic fertilizers to farmers to promote sustainability initiatives in farming.

Additionally, throughout 2024, the Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc. continued its environmental initiatives by donating Bounty’s organic fertilizers to 250 farmers in Pangasinan and Cebu. This program empowers farmers to adopt sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. By improving soil fertility, boosting crop yields, and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers, the initiative helps create long-term environmental benefits while fostering healthier agricultural communities.

As Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc. welcomes 2025, it carries forward the lessons, successes, and partnerships built in the past year. Programs like the BounTree of Hope, disaster relief operations, and organic fertilizer donations reflect the organization’s dedication to improving lives and fostering sustainable communities.

“The new year marks a renewed commitment to not only deliver on Bounty’s promise of providing better food but also to create a brighter, more inclusive future for Filipinos across the country,” said Cheng. “We, at Bounty Cares Foundation, Inc., are determined to grow our impact and inspire hope in even more communities in the year ahead.”
