Multiply-Ed Philippines has launched the School Governance Council (SGC) Awards 2025, the first national award honoring outstanding School Governance Councils in the country.
The SGC Awards aim to highlight schools that promote transparency, participation, and accountability in local education. All councils nationwide are eligible to join.
SGCs are composed of school heads, teachers, parents, students, and community representatives. They help make schools more inclusive and accountable by providing a platform for shared decision-making.
Entries are now open for three categories:
- Trailblazer Award: For innovation in promoting transparent and participatory governance.
- Solidarity Award: For strengthening partnerships among school and community stakeholders.
- Inclusivity Award: For empowering marginalized learners and communities.
Any SGC member may submit an entry with a completed application form and proof of impact such as photos, reports, or videos. Deadline is September 10, 2025.
To apply, visit bit.ly/JoinSGCAwards2025 and send your entry to [email protected] using this subject line format: School Name_SGC Awards_Category.
