Robinsons Roxas is set to become the center of innovation in Western Visayas as it hosts the Department of Science and Technology Region VI’s (DOST VI) 2025 Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) from September 10 to 12, 2025.
With the theme “Siyensya, Teknolohiya at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Kinabukasan,” the event will showcase how science, technology, and innovation are driving sustainable growth and development in the region.
The three-day gathering, organized with Capiz State University (CapSU) and the Roxas City government, is expected to draw thousands of students, educators, MSMEs, government agencies, and private groups. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of exhibits featuring disaster risk reduction tools, marine and aquaculture technologies, sustainable agriculture practices, and green economy solutions.
Exhibits will also highlight innovations from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), and DOST’s Research and Development Institutes (RDIs). Collaborative sessions, learning activities, and multi-stakeholder talks will further enrich the event, making it both interactive and informative.
“Robinsons Malls is proud to host the 2025 Regional Science and Technology Week in partnership with the DOST. By providing a platform for innovators and the public to connect, we hope to inspire the next generation of Filipino scientists and entrepreneurs,” said Jess Zulueta III, Sr. Marketing Director at Robinsons Malls.
The 2025 RSTW at Robinsons Roxas is free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to explore the exhibits and engage with innovators who are shaping smarter and more sustainable communities.
