The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) has officially opened entries for the 61st Anvil Awards, the country’s top recognition for public relations excellence.

This year’s theme, “The 61st Second: Pushing Past Possibilities,” calls on communicators to go beyond expectations and embrace the evolving demands of relevance, speed, and impact in the PR industry.

To help entrants prepare, PRSP will host the “How to Win an Anvil” seminar on August 26. The face-to-face session will explain updated mechanics, improved judging rubrics, and tips from past winners and jury members. It will also formally introduce this year’s theme and its relevance to today’s communication landscape.

Key Dates:

  • Entry Submission Opens: August 15, 2025
  • “How to Win an Anvil” Seminar: August 26, 2025
  • Deadline for Entries: November 15, 2025
  • Gabi ng Parangal: January 28, 2026

Ana Ruby Pista, Chair of the 61st Anvil Awards, urged PR professionals to take that extra step in creating campaigns that leave a lasting mark. After more than 60 years, the Anvil Awards continues to set the standard for strategic, creative, and impactful communications.
