In a media world where trends come and go, Orange Magazine stands firm, proud, and thriving as it celebrates its 15th anniversary this July 2025. The digital platform, known for its vibrant content and authentic storytelling, marks a milestone of dedication, innovation, and community-building in Philippine media.
Founded in 2010 by media trailblazer Jessie Bunyi Villanueva, better known as Jeman, Orange Magazine began as a bold vision: to publish stories that matter without limitations. “I’ve always wanted to have my own magazine where I can accommodate every kind of information that pleases me without others telling me what and what not to publish,” Jeman shared.
The name “Orange” was chosen with intention. For Jeman, it symbolizes content that’s always fresh, always relevant, and always real. As the color of dawn, orange reflects new beginnings—a perfect match for a platform that thrives on the newest trends, freshest fashion, and most exciting entertainment.
From Print to Digital Pioneering
A former tabloid correspondent and print promotions coordinator, Jeman recognized early on the power of the internet. “Since internet content is the new media, I knew that whatever I produce online will be more accessible to readers and easier to get sponsors and advertisers for,” he said.
Fifteen years later, Orange Magazine has reached:
- 7.3 million people on Facebook
- 3.8 million on TikTok
- 1.8 million on Instagram
- 41.2 million YouTube views
This success stems from consistent, quality content and interactive contests that connect with readers from all walks of life.
A Star-Studded Legacy
The platform has featured an impressive roster of personalities over the years, including K-Pop groups like One Way, 2AM, and Jay Park; global icons like Westlife, 30 Seconds To Mars, Bruno Mars, and Melanie C (Sporty Spice); and local stars such as Christian Bautista, Anne Curtis-Smith, Jessa Zaragoza, Gloc-9, Glaiza De Castro, Rhian Ramos, and even public figures like Senator Gringo Honasan and Beautéderm CEO Rea Anicoche Tan.
Teamwork Behind the Scenes
Jeman leads a passionate and agile team. His business partner Kister Morata, a content creator, shared, “Thanks to Orange Magazine, I’ve worked with my dream brands and traveled overseas. It’s been nothing short of a blessing.”
Sharmaine Rodriguez, also a content creator, added, “There’s so much energy and openness here. It’s a space where fresh ideas are welcome and celebrated.”
15th Anniversary Celebration: A Night to Remember
Orange Magazine celebrated its 15th anniversary last July 1, 2025, with a fun-filled party at Timezone, Ayala Malls Feliz. Bloggers, vloggers, influencers, and media partners gathered to celebrate the milestone with games, prizes, and heartwarming tributes—testament to the community Orange Magazine has cultivated.
