BBK Electronics announced the Oppo Pad Air and Realme Pad X during the same year. However, they have different hardware. Additionally, whilst the Pad X can only be purchased in India, the Oppo Pad Air may be purchased in Europe. Considering that Oppo Pad Air is also a low-cost tablet, how does it compare to its competitors?

What’s in the box?

The white, glossy retail packaging for the Oppo Pad Air is quite sizable. Among the items included in this package are:

  • The Oppo Pad Air Tablet
  • 18W charger
  • USB-A to USB-C data cable
  • Warranty Card
  • Quick Start Guide
  • Ejector tool

First Impressions

  • The ultra-thin design of the OPPO Pad Air, which measures 6.94 millimeters and weighs 440 grams, makes it very easy to transport.
  • The exterior of the OPPO Pad Air is completed using OPPO’s own OPPO Glow industrial surface-finishing technology, giving the tablet a smooth, sophisticated look while also protecting it from fingerprints. Its smooth, rounded form and neutral gray hue make it a delight to look at and hold.
  • The 10.36-inch screen on the Oppo Pad Air has a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, making for sharper images and more vibrant colors.
  • The huge 7100mAh battery allows for uninterrupted video calls for up to 15 hours or movie viewing for up to 12 hours. You may get quick battery life restoration with the 18-watt charging provided via USB-PD.
  • The OPPO Pad Air’s high level of hardware sophistication allows it to perform more taxing tasks with minimal drain on the battery. This is thanks to the Snapdragon® 8-core 6nm CPU.

From what I can see, the Oppo Pad Air doesn’t give off the impression that it has a low price point at all when you look at it. The overall quality of the design is superb. Its portability and light weight are advantages over bulkier devices, yet the screen size and performance are great.

It’s a great choice for people on a budget, coming in at just PHP 13,999. The Oppo Pad Air is a great option if you care about design and value productivity. The product is available at Shopee, Lazada, and other retail and authorized outlets all around the country.
