Oppo Pad Air Review: Light Budget Tablet Done Right

Aside from the Reno 8 series of smartphones, Oppo also introduced the Pad Air this year. The tablet is not the company’s first overall, but it is the first to be released in the UK and Europe. If you’re looking for an affordable Android tablet, Pad Air is a strong contender. Curious to hear how it compares to other low-cost tablets on the market. Learn more by checking out the full review.

Design

Incredibly portable and easy to hold, the OPPO Pad Air is a joy to use. The OPPO Pad Air’s 6.94mm ultra-thin design and 440g weight make it a breeze to carry. The incredibly stunning vision is made possible by the floating screen and the sleek design of the body. In addition, the OPPO Pad Air’s exterior is finished using OPPO’s distinctive OPPO Glow industrial surface-finishing method, which gives the device a fluid, elegant aesthetic while also being fingerprint-resistant. It’s a pleasure to touch and look at, thanks to its sleek, curved shape and neutral gray color.

Display

With a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, the 10.36-inch screen on the Oppo Pad Air provides crystal-clear image clarity and rich colors for a more immersive viewing experience. Meanwhile, the screen-to-body ratio of 83.5% and ultra-narrow bezel design of just 8mm deliver a captivating viewing experience. The screen on the OPPO Pad Air can adapt its brightness based on the lighting in the room, with a maximum of 2048 levels. As an added bonus, it has 578 lux levels that are lower than 20 nits, making it usable even in dim conditions.

Performance

The OPPO Pad Air’s sophisticated hardware allows it to execute more demanding tasks while remaining relatively untaxed on the device’s battery. The Snapdragon® 8-core 6nm processor is responsible for this. You can now enjoy instantaneous app launches, allowing for seamless gaming and multitasking. If you want to multitask more efficiently, the Pad Air’s Dual Windows feature will come in handy. By swiping down with two fingers, you may utilize the Split Screen functionality to access two apps at once, making multitasking much simpler.

Battery Life

Get a device with a large battery so you can use it throughout the day. A massive 7100mAh battery can support up to 15 hours of continuous video chats or 12 hours of movie playback. It also provides you fast charging at 18 watts via USB-PD for you to top up your battery in a hurry.

Final Verdict

You wouldn’t know by looking at the Oppo Pad Air that it comes at a low price point. Everything about the design is high-quality. It has a benefit over larger smartphones in that it is lightweight and easy to carry around, without sacrificing too much display real estate.

Its price of PHP 13,999 makes it an attractive option for those looking for a new inexpensive tablet. If you care about design and value productivity, the Oppo Pad Air is a fantastic alternative to consider. Shopee, Lazada, and other retail and authorized merchants across the country offer the item.
