The premier event for the attractions industry in Asia, IAAPA Expo Asia 2026, will take place 9–12 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, connecting executives from world-class theme parks, integrated resorts, water parks, family entertainment centers, and leading technology companies.
With more than 300 exhibitors, the trade show floor will showcase the latest innovations in attractions technology, guest experience, design, and operations — providing a platform for companies to debut new products, form partnerships, and tap into one of the world’s fastest-growing attractions markets.
New Show Floor Features
A Connections Hub will serve as a new networking and knowledge-sharing space designed to encourage collaboration among industry professionals. Developed with operators in mind, the hub will host interactive discussions, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and conversations focused on solving real-world operational challenges facing attractions across the region.
Advancing Talent in the Asia-Pacific Region
The IAAPA Foundation will debut its first Asia-Pacific scholarship program in partnership with Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) at IAAPA Expo Asia 2026. Students in HKMU’s attraction management program have developed projects focused on enhancing guest experience, sustainability, and business performance.
A winning group will be selected by HKMU faculty and IAAPA representatives, with the scholarship presented on the last day of the show. The award presentation will be open to registered media and attended by university leadership and IAAPA executives.
Offsite Experiences
In addition to the trade show and education conference, attendees can participate in IAAPA’s signature EDUTours, offering behind-the-scenes access to leading attractions across Hong Kong, including Ocean Park Hong Kong, Kidztopia, and Kai Tak Sports Park. An optional post-tour to Qingyuan Chimelong International Forest Resort will provide further insight into large-scale integrated resort development in Mainland China.
Opening Reception at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
IAAPA Expo Asia 2026 will celebrate day one with an Opening Reception at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, offering attendees an evening of networking and exclusive access to World of Frozen, one of the destination’s newest themed lands. The event will bring together industry professionals from across the region to celebrate the start of Expo week and foster new business connections.
Education that Addresses Key Industry Trends
The education conference will feature more than 20 EDUSessions addressing a variety of key trends shaping the future of the attractions industry. Sessions will cover artificial intelligence, operational excellence, workforce development, retail and food and beverage strategies, revenue optimization and other relevant industry topics.
Industry leaders and subject matter experts will share case studies, best practices, and insights to help attractions professionals adapt to changing consumer expectations in a rapidly evolving landscape.
