Monde Nissin forest restoration efforts grow through KaSulong and Haribon partnership
Monde Nissin pushes a clear goal. Restore forests. Strengthen biodiversity. Support local communities. The company moved closer to this goal through its recent KaSulong tree planting activity with Haribon Foundation, a leader in Filipino environmental conservation.

Haribon has planted more than 1,054,000 seedlings since 2005. These efforts restored over 22,800 hectares of forest land with a survival rate above 96 percent. Monde Nissin joined this long-term program to raise its contribution to ecosystem protection and climate action.
The joint activity took place in Tanay, Rizal and Zambales. Volunteers planted native tree species. Narra. Molave. Antipolo. Each person planted 15 to 25 seedlings. The group also joined guided treks and short training sessions that explained the importance of native trees. These trees help regulate temperature, support wildlife, and reduce disaster risks. The activity showed how simple actions can strengthen your understanding of environmental responsibility.
The program emphasized hands-on learning. Participants met local community guides. They learned how native trees support food sources, water systems, and soil stability. They also saw how reforestation supports livelihood programs by empowering families who help maintain and protect these areas.
Atty. Olive Misa, Corporate and Government Affairs Head at Monde Nissin, said the KaSulong agenda ties corporate goals with community-driven action. She added that the company is focused on creating lasting impact for future generations through ecosystem restoration and local livelihood support.
Monde Nissin plans to expand its KaSulong agenda. The company targets more partnerships that protect biodiversity and restore damaged ecosystems. It aims to inspire collective action while meeting key sustainability commitments. Consumers gain from these efforts because healthy forests support clean water, stable climates, and safer communities.
The tree planting activity marked a clear step in Monde Nissin’s sustainability journey. It also showed how businesses and communities work together to rebuild the country’s natural resources.
