Singapore-based Indonesian R&B star lullaboy has released his latest single ‘live with it’ featuring Stephanie Poetri, best known for her viral hit ‘I Love You 3000.’ The track dropped on August 29, marking lullaboy’s first duet with a female artist.
The collaboration comes on the heels of lullaboy’s historic Summer Sonic Bangkok performance on August 24, where he became the first Singapore artist to share the stage with Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, and 21 Savage.
‘live with it’ explores the aftermath of betrayal and failed love, with lullaboy taking the antagonist role and Poetri portraying the protagonist. Written after the two met at a songwriting camp in Los Angeles, the single reflects their shared focus on love and relationships despite being based on different continents.
“This song was difficult to tell because relational affairs are such a sensitive topic,” lullaboy said. “But I hope it brings comfort to those hurt and a wake-up call to those who caused the pain.”
The single serves as the sixth release from lullaboy’s upcoming third album, ‘hotels & heartbreaks.’ Known for his heartfelt approach, lullaboy has earned over 100 million streams and is often called the “healer of the broken-hearted.” His career milestones include closing six nights of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and becoming the first Singapore artist at Waterbomb SG.
Stephanie Poetri, signed under 88rising, brings her soulful presence to the duet. At 25, she continues to build on the success of her viral breakout, strengthening her role as one of Indonesia’s rising voices in global pop.
‘live with it’ is now streaming on all major platforms.
