KonsultaMD has taken a significant step towards inclusive healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community by partnering with the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Project.
With the partnership, KonsultaMD becomes the first telehealth application in the Philippines to offer Inclusive Care, featuring doctors trained by PEPFAR-USAID’s EpiC Project on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC), gender sensitivity, and motivational counseling.
Through KonsultaMD, the LGBTQ+ community now has access to Inclusive Care doctors who are trained to understand and address their specific needs. KonsultaMD provides a safe and respectful space for consultations, offering knowledgeable healthcare services, including those for sexual health.

To consult with an Inclusive Care doctor, download the KonsultaMD app and register. Navigate to the homepage and tap on the “Inclusive Care” icon. From there, click on the “Specialist” tab and select a doctor. Choose between an on-demand consultation or schedule one for a later time by tapping “Book a consultation.”
