Jobstreet by SEEK has formalized a new partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) Jobs Cluster to expand career readiness programs and improve workforce opportunities nationwide.
Through signed Memorandums of Agreement, the partnership aims to increase job access for Filipinos and address employment challenges in the country.
Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines Managing Director, said the collaboration reflects their shared vision of supporting job seekers and opening more opportunities through career conventions, career readiness programs, and accessible job listings.
The Jobstreet by SEEK–DepEd collaboration will roll out the Career Readiness Caravan, offering workshops and career-building activities to Senior High School students and Alternative Learning System learners. The program will provide practical career advice, job market insights, and tips to build confidence and prepare students for professional growth.
Youth Formation Initiatives will also be included, focusing on values, knowledge, attitudes, and skills development among the youth.
With PSAC, Jobstreet by SEEK will digitize career convention processes, making opportunities easier to access for job seekers. The partnership also includes job fair marketing to connect employers with the right talent.
Ongoing discussions with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) may lead to training modules, labor market information sharing, and wider use of seekPASS, the platform’s mobile app for managing and sharing job credentials.
Jobstreet by SEEK also continues its partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) to drive career growth and support the retail sector through job fairs and on-ground events with Public Employment Service Offices (PESO).
