Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz and Idris Elba welcome Keanu Reeves in the new featurette “Casting a Shadow.” “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” opens in Philippine cinemas January 15

“For 50 years, Shadow’s been in a state of suspended animation. He’s coming out of it seeking revenge,” says Keanu Reeves, who voices Shadow, a fan favorite villain in the Sonic universe.

Says Idris Elba, who plays Knuckles, another popular character: “Keanu, whatever he does, he kind of brings icon status to it.” 

Reeves, well-loved for his Matrix and John Wick characters, adds, “Sonic’s no match for me.”

Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen in his most thrilling adventure yet.
