HSBC Juspay Acquiring Platform to Redefine Global Payments

HSBC and Juspay have joined forces to create a new full-stack acquiring platform designed for global, digital-first merchants. The partnership combines HSBC’s vast international banking network with Juspay’s advanced payments technology to redefine the way acquiring services are delivered.

The HSBC Juspay acquiring platform aims to provide merchants with higher success rates, stronger reliability, and improved flexibility. Built for speed and scale, it integrates every part of the payment journey into one seamless system.

Merchants will gain access to multiple payment methods through a single provider. The unified stack will reduce complexity, improve transaction success, and deliver meaningful cost savings. With HSBC’s global presence and Juspay’s technical strength, the platform is built to serve enterprises that need both scale and innovation.

“The acquiring platform we’re building with Juspay is a full-stack, future-ready solution that meets the fast-changing needs of today’s payments landscape,” said Lewis Sun, Global Head of Domestic and Emerging Payments, HSBC. “This all-in-one solution removes the complexities of managing multiple payment methods, allowing clients to focus on growth.”

Sheetal Lalwani, Co-Founder and COO of Juspay, shared, “We’re excited to partner with HSBC and set a new benchmark for acquiring by demonstrating how banks and fintechs can co-create high-performance, future-ready infrastructure.”

The platform covers every layer of digital payments. It includes checkout UI, transaction processing with smart routing and retries, local payment methods integration, fraud management, chargeback handling, reconciliation, and settlement. It also gives businesses control and monitoring tools to manage their transactions efficiently.

HSBC brings a legacy of trust and global reach, while Juspay contributes its innovation in payments, currently processing over 300 million daily transactions with 99.999% reliability. The partnership signals a new chapter in how banks and fintechs collaborate to serve the next generation of digital businesses.
