Holcim Philippines, Inc. joined Brigada Eskwela 2025 to help prepare schools for the new academic year.
Through its “Holcim Helps” program, the company mobilized nearly 300 employee volunteers from its cement plants in Bulacan, La Union, Davao and Lugait. Together, they supported clean-up and minor repairs in schools and provided resources for around 6,000 students.
In Barangay Quirino, La Union, Holcim built two Reading Hubs to support DepEd’s reading initiative. Each hub was equipped with air conditioning and learning materials to improve student focus and comfort. Barangay Captain Marvin Cardinez thanked the company, saying the hubs will benefit both students and community reading programs.
The company also distributed cleaning tools, paint, and repair supplies across its host communities. These efforts reflect Holcim’s goal to improve local education, health, and infrastructure through long-term community partnerships.
