“Hindi mo kailangang gawin lahat mag-isa.” Celebrity Moms sa Hirap ng Back-To-School Season

The back-to-school season can be one of the toughest times for parents. Early mornings, endless errands, and mounting expenses all pile up. For moms, the challenge is even greater. In the latest episode of Mommy, G Ka Na?, celebrity moms Jolina Magdangal, Dimples Romana, and Angeline Quinto sit down for a candid talk on how they handle the stress while reminding each other, “Hindi mo kailangang gawin lahat mag-isa.”

The three shared simple but practical strategies that help lighten the load. Angeline believes in making baon more fun with creative lunchboxes. She shared how her son Sylvio gets excited to eat even a simple sandwich when the container is cute. Jolina agreed, adding that baon doesn’t have to be expensive. What matters is the effort and love moms put in.

Dimples talked about the financial strain that comes once classes begin. Beyond enrollment, new shoes, uniforms, and extracurricular costs quickly add up. To manage, she turns to GCash features like GGives, which lets her break down big-ticket purchases into smaller payments.

For emergencies and surprise gastos, Jolina reminded viewers about GCredit and GLoan. GCredit provides up to PHP 50,000 for urgent needs, while GLoan offers up to PHP 150,000 for bigger expenses like tuition fees. Both options give moms peace of mind when budgets get tight.

The three moms also agreed that online shopping and cashless payments through GCash save them precious time. Between laundry and helping with homework, they can tick off grocery lists without leaving home.

Their biggest takeaway is that moms should not carry everything alone. Asking for help is not a weakness. Whether it’s leaning on fellow moms or using digital tools like GCash, every bit of support makes life lighter.
