Hanabishi Appliances has launched its Kapartner sa Kabuhayan program by donating starter kits to 10 nanaypreneurs and 2 community health coordinators. These women, who run small karinderyas in Caloocan and Quezon City, received appliances to support their businesses and families.
The initiative is part of Project Karinderya with Kabuhayan sa Ganap na Kasarinlan Credit and Savings Cooperative (K-COOP). Each Hanabishi Karinderya Starter Kit contained essential appliances such as a rice cooker, gas stove, blender, or coffee maker.
Hanabishi’s Vice President for Finance and Marketing, Cherish Ong-Chua, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering mothers who play vital roles in their households and communities.
SEAOIL and BiotechJP joined the effort by providing LPG tanks and ready-to-eat rice. The turnover ceremony happened on August 4, 2025, with all beneficiaries receiving their kits personally.
Kapartner sa Kabuhayan highlights Hanabishi’s dedication to livelihood, sustainability, and collaboration. More programs for micro-entrepreneurs are being planned under this campaign in partnership with K-COOP and other organizations.
