Globe is making digital connectivity more accessible with the launch of a new pop-up store in Bohol, catering to both residents and the influx of tourists. As part of its mission to expand nationwide access to its offerings, Globe brings services closer to Bohol communities through this innovative retail approach.
The province has seen a remarkable rise in tourism, with Panglao alone welcoming over 70,000 visitors in February 2025. Recognizing the need for fast, convenient access to mobile and broadband services, Globe brings services closer to Bohol by providing prepaid SIMs, mobile postpaid lines, and home internet solutions such as GFiber Prepaid and Globe At Home.
“We’re excited to serve the people of Bohol more directly,” said Chai Alano, Globe’s VP for Channel Management Group. “This pop-up store is one way we’re bringing our services closer to the community.” By targeting growing digital demands in Bohol, Globe brings services closer to Bohol’s households, small businesses, and travelers who need seamless connectivity.
Located at the Upper Ground Floor of Island City Mall in Tagbilaran City, the pop-up store is a one-stop shop for SIMs, plan applications and renewals, broadband connections, technical support, and billing concerns. With a user-friendly setup and all payment options accepted, the store supports digital nomads, locals, and entrepreneurs alike.
This initiative underscores Globe’s broader goal to empower more Filipinos with quality connectivity, particularly in fast-developing areas like Bohol.
