History is made as GIGIL becomes first Filipino independent creative agency to win Independent Agency of the Year at ADFEST 2025

GIGIL has once again proven that effectiveness and creativity go hand in hand. At ADFEST 2025 in Pattaya, Thailand, the agency made history as the first Filipino agency to be named Independent Agency of the Year, solidifying its position as a global force in advertising. The 

7-year-old Filipino indie agency also ranked fourth place among large network agencies in the Top 5 Southeast Asia Agency of the Year rankings.

GIGIL’s historic win was achieved after an impressive metal haul at the show, with the indie agency collecting 1 Gold, 3 Silvers, 1 Bronze, and 3 Finalists for 5 separate campaigns across 5 clients.

Gold – TNT Telco ‘SIM Registration Drive’ (Effective Lotus, Customer Acquisition and Retention)

Silver – Grab ‘Summer’ (Digital and Social Lotus, Brand Storytelling)

Silver – Grab ‘Summer’ (Digital and Social Lotus, Social Film)

Silver – Mandaue ‘Steal’ (Film, Online Film, Retail)

Bronze – Grab ‘Summer’ (Film, Viral Film)

Finalist – Grab ‘Summer’ (Effective Lotus, Campaign Success)

Finalist – Lagundex ‘Most Expert Endorser’ (Film, Lotus Roots)

Finalist – Skyro Loans ‘Billboards’ (Media Lotus, Use of Print & Conventional Outdoor)
