Masculados Return with Playful New Single “Saging”

The Masculados are bringing their unmistakable energy back to the music scene with “Saging,” a playful new single set for release on September 18, 2026.

Arriving with what the group calls “100% kaldagan energy,” the track combines the familiar sound and lively personality that fans have long associated with Masculados with a more modern musical approach.

An official music video will premiere on the same day as the single, giving listeners a visual accompaniment to the song’s cheeky lyrics and lighthearted concept built around everyone’s favorite yellow fruit—the banana.

A New Chapter With Universal Records

“Saging” will be Masculados’ first new track since returning to Universal Records, the record label that played an important role in introducing the group and its music to a wider audience.

Their renewed partnership began with a fresh version of one of the group’s most recognizable songs, “Jumbo Hotdog.” The track was given a budots makeover by Davao-based DJ Love, who is widely credited with creating and popularizing the genre.

The release helped connect Masculados’ signature style with a contemporary sound, setting the tone for the group’s latest chapter.

“Looking forward kami sa mga projects ulit, kasi dito nagsimula ang mga songs namin at dito naman nakilala rin ang Masculados,” the members shared about working with Universal Records again.
