FedEx Philippines wins HR Asia Best Workplaces, plus sustainability and tech awards

FedEx Philippines secured a triple victory at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s top employers. The company, part of Federal Express Corporation, earned recognition as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia, while also receiving the Sustainable Workplace Award and the Tech Empowerment Award.

The HR Asia awards program is judged through the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM), which evaluates employee engagement, workplace culture, and HR practices. FedEx stood out among leading multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies participating in this prestigious regional competition.

The Sustainable Workplace Award highlighted FedEx’s focus on employee well-being, environmental responsibility, and workplace sustainability. Meanwhile, the Tech Empowerment Award recognized the company’s use of technology to improve the employee experience, foster innovation, and build a connected workforce.

Maribeth Espinosa, managing director of FedEx Philippines, emphasized the significance of the win. “This triple win is a powerful testament to the dedication of our people and the strength of the FedEx People-Service-Profit philosophy. These prestigious recognitions inspire us to foster an inclusive workplace culture, accelerate the adoption of digital technologies, and drive sustainable practices that benefit our communities and the environment.”

FedEx’s people-first approach has also been recognized beyond HR Asia. At the HR Excellence Awards 2025 Philippines, the company won Gold for Excellence in Cross-Generational Workforce Management and Leadership Development, and Silver for Excellence in Best HR Team (Multinational Company). These distinctions further affirm its leadership in human capital development.

FedEx continues to demonstrate how strong HR practices, technology integration, and sustainability can shape a workplace that empowers employees while creating a positive impact on society.
