Fantastic Flight Fares: Agoda Reveals Cheapest Domestic, Regional, and Intercontinental Air Routes from the Philippines

As inflation bites, travelers globally are on the lookout for the best deals out there. To help bargain hunters on their way, digital travel platform Agoda shares the cheapest routes that were booked on Agoda in early August by travelers from the Philippines.With thousands of flight routes from the Philippines to choose from on Agoda, travelers had access to fares starting as low as USD 8. The Philippines and Thailand – having both offered an USD 8 (around P450) domestic flight – shared the top spot when looking at the cheapest domestic flight across ten Asia Pacific markets. Regionally, Philippines and Thailand tied for 3rd, both having offered USD 26 (around P1,460) flight, which is USD 14 (around P790) more than the cheapest regional flight, from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Manila – Perth, the cheapest intercontinental flight from the Philippines and 4th in the ranking, was booked for USD 184 (around P10,350). Indians have the most affordable intercontinental flight: Delhi to Dubai was available for only USD 90 (around P5,060). “It’s great to see travelers finding such amazing flight deals on Agoda. These bargains show there are real deals to be found if you are prepared to be flexible with carrier, route, and timing. Pricing of course changes with demand, and we seek to get the best prices available for wherever you want to fly. Domestic, regionally, or cross continents,” said Enric Casals, Associate Vice President at Agoda. The most affordable flights from the Philippines:Domestic: Roxas (RXS) -> Manila (MNL), USD 8 (around P450)The cheapest domestic flight booked in the Philippines took off from Roxas, the capital of the Capiz province which is located on the western coast of Panay Island. The destination was Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. This flight, with a duration of around 70 minutes, was booked earlier this month for only USD 8 (around P450), making it one of the cheapest flights that was booked on Agoda.Regional: Manila (MNL) -> Hong Kong (HKG), USD 26 (around P1,460)A journey from Manila to Hong Kong was booked for a mere USD 26 (around P1,460). Hong Kong is world-famous for its skyline, dim sum, harbor, and for shopping. The flight from Manila to Hong Kong takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Intercontinental: Manila (MNL) to Perth (PER), USD 184 (around P10,350)Perth, the coastal capital of Western Australia, is a great place to experience beaches, wildlife, and… wine! Perth is just over a 7-hour flight from Manila and a one-way ticket was recently booked on Agoda for just USD 184 (around P10,350). Agoda looked at the total fare per passenger, including taxes and surcharges, in 10 markets across Asia Pacific. The fares are the cheapest fares from actual bookings made on Agoda between 1 and 14 August and for travel in September and October this year.Agoda built its global reputation as an online travel booking platform for hotels and vacation homes and has seen its flight bookings take off since launching on the platform in 2019. There are now 130,000 flight routes available to book on Agoda.
