Ed Sheeran has released his new single “A Little More” with a comedic music video starring Rupert Grint and Nathalie Emmanuel.
The track blends sharp, witty lyrics with blues-inspired sounds, carrying a message of self-preservation and moral courage. Sheeran co-wrote the song with DAVE, Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, and Johnny McDaid, with production by Slatkin and Cirkut.
Directed by Emil Nava, the video continues the story from Sheeran’s 2011 “Lego House” video. Grint reprises his role as an obsessive Sheeran fan, now trying to rebuild his life after prison. Nathalie Emmanuel plays his love interest, but an unexpected twist at their wedding brings chaos when the guests — and even the bride — appear as Ed Sheeran.
“A Little More” follows Sheeran’s single “Sapphire,” a collaboration with Arijit Singh that fused Hindi, Punjabi, and English lyrics. Both tracks lead to his upcoming album “Play,” set for release on September 12, 2025. The album draws inspiration from Indian, Persian, and Irish folk traditions while blending fresh pop production and heartfelt ballads.
Sheeran remains a global streaming leader, with the Philippines ranked as his third-largest market.
