EastWest Ageas earned the Bronze Award in the Addressing Urban Workforce Challenges category at the 2025 HR Excellence Awards Philippines. The recognition highlights the company’s success in addressing employee needs through its Hybrid Work Program.
The insurer surveyed employees on how to improve the workplace environment. Results showed a preference for a hybrid setup and more private spaces for confidential tasks. In response, EastWest Ageas rolled out its Hybrid Workplace Program, requiring staff to work on-site two days a week and remotely for three. It also added more meeting rooms and private work areas.
The program led to higher productivity and efficiency among employees. Recruitment also improved, with the hiring rate rising by 5%. Leaders say the award affirms their focus on building a culture that values both professional and personal growth.
This marks EastWest Ageas’ second consecutive win at the HR Excellence Awards, after its recognition in the Excellence in Learning and Development category in 2024.
