Dusit International has entered the French market through a joint venture with SYDEL, creating Dusit France. This move introduces Dusit’s Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to Europe, starting with France.
The Dusit France launch combines Dusit’s hotel expertise and SYDEL’s real estate know-how. Their goal is to identify key French locations and launch a range of Dusit brands, from luxury to midscale.
Brands under review for France include:
- Dusit Thani (luxury)
- Devarana – Dusit Retreats (wellness)
- Dusit Collection (boutique)
- dusitD2 and ASAI Hotels (lifestyle)
- Dusit Princess and Dusit Suites (midscale and long stay)
Dusit and SYDEL plan to support asset owners, launch repositioning projects and introduce wellness-led hotel experiences focused on long-term value.
The deal was signed on July 10, 2025, in Paris. Dusit COO Gilles Cretallaz said the partnership is a key step in the company’s global expansion.
The Dusit France launch is set to tap into one of the world’s most visited destinations. It reflects Dusit’s vision to deliver cultural authenticity and innovative guest experiences in Europe.
Dusit currently operates 294 properties in 18 countries, including Dusit Suites Athens in Greece. France marks a strategic leap as it builds a stronger presence across Europe.
