Design Drift 2024 Unites Filipino Web Designers in Esports-Style Showdown

The Design Drift 2024 Web Design Showdown turns creativity into a live esports experience

Design Drift 2024 turns web design into a live, high-stakes esports experience. Organized by the Filipino Graphic Designers (FGD) community with the Philippine Business Network (PHBN) and TTRacing, the event celebrates creativity, strategy, and innovation in a new competitive format.

Held at the TTRacing Showroom in Taguig and streamed live on Facebook, Design Drift 2024 gives audiences a front-row seat to the design process. With judge commentary, multi-angle coverage, and a designcaster offering real-time analysis, the event transforms digital artistry into spectator sport.

Ten web designers will face off in a one-hour challenge to create a website for a surprise MSME brand from PHBN. Each participant must design fast, adapt to real-time changes, and handle unexpected twists. Game-like features add pressure, including Freeze Powers to pause competitors, Desk Switches that force them to continue another designer’s project, and Surprise Judge Challenges that require new creative elements mid-round.

Judging will focus on branding fit, user experience, visual appeal, and adaptability. Winners will receive TTRacing Duo V3 Air Threads Fabric chairs, while runners-up and raffle winners will take home exclusive prizes.
