Charlie Burg is back with a new single, “Reach”. This marks his third release of 2025.
“Reach” blends chill-pop with a sharper pop-electronic sound. Originally written during the pandemic, it reflects a more grounded version of Charlie. He sounds more self-assured, more focused.
Last month, he released “Upon Arrival”. The song went through years of rewrites before he chose the raw 2020 demo as the final cut. That decision marked a return to his instincts — honest, direct, and emotional.
Charlie Burg first gained attention in 2015 with the mixtape Blue Wave Mosaic. His 2022 album Infinitely Tall, co-produced by Mike Malchicoff, expanded his sound and showed his lyrical range. Now with over 300 million streams and 1.2 million monthly listeners, Charlie’s name has become synonymous with genre-blending indie pop and warm falsetto vocals.
His music resonates deeply in Southeast Asia. Over half of his global streaming audience comes from the region. The Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand are his top three markets, with Singapore and Malaysia also in the top 10. He’s performed headline shows in Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Singapore. His growing fanbase has made him a staple in the alt-pop scenes across Asia.
“Reach” marks a new chapter — more confident, more refined. And for Charlie Burg, it’s not just a return. It’s a reset.
