This June, Ayala Malls Cinemas celebrates Pride Month with the exclusive theatrical re-release of restored Filipino classic movies “T-Bird at Ako” and “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay,” both now showing. Starring beloved Filipino actors including the late National Artist Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos for “T-Bird at Ako,” and Dolphy and Roderick Paulate for “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay,” these films, released in the ’80s, can now be enjoyed together by different generations where they are truly meant to be seen – on the big screen.

Ayala Malls Cinemas is committed to offering moviegoers unique cinematic experiences, and this month’s “A-Rewind” lineup gives audiences the chance to celebrate Pride Month with a classic Filipino twist. With special ticket rates of P180 for regular tickets and P160 for students, movie lovers can now watch “T-Bird at Ako” and “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay” in the following Ayala Malls Cinemas: Ayala Malls The 30th, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, Ayala Malls MarQuee Mall, and Ayala Malls Market! Market!. Showing is for a limited time only, so book your tickets now at www.sureseats.com.

T-Bird at Ako

Directed by Danny L. Zialcita, this 1982 classic tells the story of lawyer Sylvia (played by the late National Artist Nora Aunor), who tries to keep things professional between her and her client, Sabel (Vilma Santos), a dancer who accidentally kills a man out of self-defense after he attempted to rape her. The film also stars Dindo Fernando, Tommy Abuel, Suzanne Gonzales, and Odette Khan.

Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay

Released originally in 1987, this film is a sequel to the late Dolphy’s classic “Facifica Falayfay.” In “Mga Anak,” the death of Facifica’s (now Pacifico, played by Dolphy) wife deeply affects one of his sons, Rodrigo (Roderick Paulate). As Rodrigo tries to discover and get to know his true self, he tries to seek acceptance from his father. Zsa Zsa Padilla, Lotlot de Leon, Eric Quizon and Rolly Quizon are also part of the cast of the movie, directed by Romy Villaflor.

Film Classics in Full Cinematic Glory

With Ayala Malls Cinemas’ “A Rewind” initiative, a partnership that began in March with ABS-CBN Film Archives and Restoration, moviegoers and film enthusiasts have been immersing themselves in the full glory of restored Filipino film classics on the big screen. “Kailan Ka Magiging Akin,” “Tatlong Ina, Isang Anak,” “Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos,” “Hiling” and “Magic Temple” have all been re-released in cinemas. This month’s “T-Bird at Ako” and “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay” joins this prestigious list, with more to come in the next few months.

The premium titles being offered exclusively are complemented with plush seating, state-of-the-art sound systems, and a comfortable setting, making Ayala Malls Cinemas a premium destination for cineastes and anyone who appreciates movies.

Don’t miss the chance to watch Filipino classics “T-Bird at Ako” and “Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay” on the big screen this Pride Month, now showing exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas. Book your tickets by visiting www.sureseats.com or any of the participating cinemas. Visit the Ayala Malls Cinemas FB and IG pages for updates!
