Canon has introduced the PIXMA TR160, a new wireless portable printer designed for professionals who need reliable printing while on the go. The device offers smartphone connectivity, USB-C charging, and storage for customized document templates, making it ideal for mobile work.
The PIXMA TR160 combines compact design with advanced features. It fits in most bags and includes a 1.44-inch OLED display for quick access to print settings, battery levels, and Wi-Fi strength. With a print speed of 9.0 ipm for monochrome and 5.5 ipm for color, it can handle text and image documents efficiently. It also supports borderless A4 photo printing, useful for client proposals.
A standout feature is the ability to store up to five customized print templates directly in the printer’s memory. This allows professionals to reprint frequently used forms and datasheets without needing a laptop or phone connection. The printer uses a 5-Color Hybrid Ink System for sharp text and vivid photo-quality prints.
The PIXMA TR160 also supports versatile charging, with its battery pack charging through an AC adapter or USB-C. A 10-minute AC charge produces up to 36 pages, ensuring consistent productivity. For security, it features TLS1.3 protection, dual-band Wi-Fi, and direct wireless printing capabilities. The Canon PRINT app lets users print from iOS and Android devices while monitoring printer status.
The PIXMA TR160 will be available in the Philippines by June 2025, priced at PHP 16,995 for the standard model and PHP 24,595 with the battery pack.
