Canon Marketing Philippines is making student life easier and more affordable by providing reliable, cost-efficient printing solutions tailored to academic demands. At a special media event held at Marco Polo Ortigas, the tech giant spotlighted its PIXMA and MAXIFY MegaTank printers—engineered to deliver low-cost, high-volume printing ideal for school projects, reports, and more.
Part of Canon’s back-to-school initiative, the event marked the launch of its “Print Your Way to A+” campaign and Campus Tour 2025, an outreach designed to directly engage students across various universities. With significant ink price reductions, an enhanced Canon Rewards program, and a limited-time Ink Bundle Promo, Canon is doubling down on its mission to support students in every aspect of their academic journey.
“We recognize that students face increasing academic demands while managing limited resources,” shared Anuj Aggarwal, President & CEO of Canon Marketing Philippines. “Our goal is to equip them not only with tools that enhance productivity but also with programs that make every print more valuable.”
Big Savings, Big Impact
One of the highlights of the campaign is the newly expanded Canon Rewards program. Students can now redeem points via the Canon App for e-gift certificates from over 400 merchants nationwide through Giftaway. This offers practical support for students, enabling them to convert printer usage into savings for meals, supplies, and daily essentials.
Canon also slashed prices for its GI-71 ink bottles, making it even more affordable to print high-volume projects. To add more value, select PIXMA MegaTank printers—including the G2730, G3730, G4770, G3780, and G4780—will come bundled with a free set of GI-71s inks until September 30, 2025.
Designed for Student Life
During the event, media guests and student leaders experienced hands-on demos of Canon’s MegaTank printers, showcasing features like wireless connectivity, automatic two-sided printing, and compact designs that fit easily in dorm rooms or shared study spaces. The MAXIFY MegaTank stood out with its high-yield ink tanks, capable of printing up to 21,000 color pages or 9,000 black pages in economy mode—ideal for research papers, visuals, and creative materials.
Wellness and Academics Go Hand-in-Hand
The event also highlighted the importance of mental health in academic success. Renowned psychologist Riyan Portuguez, widely known as Your Millennial Psychologist, delivered an insightful talk encouraging students to balance academic pressure with emotional well-being. Her session underscored Canon’s broader message: that success requires both the right tools and a resilient mindset.
