Bob Odenkirk is back as Hutch Mansell in Nobody 2, hitting Philippine cinemas on August 13. After the mayhem of the first film, Hutch tries to be a better father and husband. But his family vacation quickly spirals into a bloodbath.
In Nobody 2, Hutch takes his family to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark for a break. Trouble starts when town bullies and a corrupt theme park boss drag him into another violent mess. This time, Hutch’s wife and kids are caught in the chaos.
Producer Kelly McCormick says the sequel explores how Hutch and his family changed after the events of Nobody. “They went through a lot in the first film and with Nobody 2 they go through even more,” she said.
This new chapter shows Hutch’s ongoing fight for work-life balance—even if “work” involves killing people. Producer Marc Provissiero adds, “Even with the job that Hutch does, he’s still got to come home to a family. That evolves the story into universal relevance.”
The film adds humor and heart to its signature action scenes. Bob Odenkirk, who returns as both star and producer, says, “There’s more fighting, character, story; there’s more everything.” He calls Nobody 2 “powerful, funny, surprising, out of control, bloody—and sweet.”
Nobody 2 opens in Philippine cinemas August 13.
